Professor Zagzebski began his prestigious career with a bachelor's degree in Physics from St Mary's College in Winona, Minnesota, in 1966 and went right on to receive his masters in physics in 1968 from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, followed by earning his PhD in radiological sciences in 1972 from the same institution. Zagzebski, PhD, whose dedication to enhancing the field of ultrasound physics has spanned his entire career.

This year, the AIUM is proud to bestow the William J.
